Bankers and Taxi Apps

It appears that there are a couple of bankers lately who are leaving or looking to leave their current jobs and have started to make and launch their own taxi-sharing apps.

This is interesting because these entrepreneurs (and major kudos to them!) are coming out with their own resources to bootstrap, packing exposure/experience in business models/technology and what I must imagine are pretty intersting industry networks.

 But have chosen to plough these into what appears to be a hyper localized application with little market size in Singapore. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out, especially with the challenges of industry fragmentation affecting their individual network growths, and how the revenue model is going to develop... =)

Seems like it's been years (and actually is) since my last post - but well, I'm back! Will probably post more very shortly! =)
